Stephan El Shaarawy’s future in the Italian capital remains uncertain as the attacker continues to be linked with other Serie A clubs.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Atalanta and Monza are the main candidates that come forward to try and assess the feasibility of a transfer involving the ex-Milan man.

However, the newspaper claims that both teams are unwilling to meet Roma’s demands.

The player is set to become a free agent next year, which explains why the capital club are trying to monetise from an eventual sale.
