Talks are on-going between Roma and Atalanta for Columbian striker Duvan Zapata.
The veteran forward is eager to join the Giallorossi after consulting with his entourage and talking to Jose Mourinho on the phone in recent days.
However, the latest report by Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport claims Atalanta have stalled the deal by changing the terms of the player’s initial loan.
Di Marzio reports that Atalanta no longer want this deal to be temporary – the Bergamaschi are asking for a permanent purchase with a fixed fee of €5 million plus €5 million in add-ons.
As a result, Roma are reflecting on the situation and considering other options.
