The deal for Duvan Zapata between Roma and Atalanta has been called off.
As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, Atalanta have decided against selling Zapata and are now expected to keep the Colombian striker for another year.
Negotiations with Roma have collapsed as Atalanta manager Gian Piero Gasperini was able to convince Zapata to stay.
Now, Roma will have to move on to other transfer targets as they continue to prioritize an additional striker for Jose Mourinho.
