Atalanta have reportedly abandoned their pursuit of Roma target Tilo Kehrer.
The German defender has been linked with a move to Italy as he continues to face limited playing time at West Ham.
One of the potential destinations ahead of January was Atalanta: the Bergamaschi, like Roma, have been tracking further defensive reinforcements for the remainder of the season.
However, Sky Sport reports that Atalanta have just secured the signing of Hellas Verona centreback Isak Hien, thus withdrawing from the race for Kehrer who is now in talks to join Roma instead.
