Roma continue to plan a major overhaul of their wingers this summer and have are thus eyeing several potential replacements including Mitchel Bakker of Atalanta.

The capital club are expected to release the likes of Spinazzola, Karsdorp, Kristensen and Celik this summer, which means they will need to bring in fresh reinforcements.

With Daniele De Rossi intent on relying a on a 4-3-3 system, Roma are evaluating players that would be a good fit for this system.

Above all, Roma are prioritizing pace and technique.

As a result, ReteSport claims that the latest player to have been monitored by the Giallorossi is Mitchel Bakker who is likely on his way out of Atalanta.

The player had already been linked with the club in January.

After winning the Europa League title with the Bergamaschi against his former side, the Dutchman will seek a new challenge elsewhere.

A deal for Bakker could be favorable as the player is coming off an inconsistent season – only 20 appearances for Atalanta in all competitions, with one goal to his name.
