Evan Ferguson’s condition is not improving, and the Irish striker, absent from the Europa League match against Stuttgart, continues to train separately from the group.

After a medical consultation in England, Roma’s number 11 has returned to Trigoria, but he still wears an ankle brace and uses crutches.

According to Corriere della Sera, a new medical consultation is expected soon, with the risk of season-ending surgery.

If surgery were necessary, Ferguson would be forced to miss the March play-offs against Ireland, and Roma would lose a place in the UEFA squad for the rest of the season.

With Ferguson, Dovbyk, and Dybala sidelined, Gasperini hopes to have Soulé fit for the match against Juventus and is asking Malen to work overtime. In addition to the Dutch striker, the coach will be able to count on Pellegrini, Zaragoza, Venturino, and Vaz.
