Atalanta inquire about Tammy Abraham as Scamacca replacement

Andy Mattioli

Atalanta have reportedly come forward for Roma striker Tammy Abraham.

Abraham continues to be the subject of transfer rumors and speculations about his future in the Italian capital.

Following Roma’s decision to put him on the transfer list, Abraham’s camp have been shopping him around Europe, in particular in the Premier League and Serie A.

According to Il Messaggero, Atalanta are the latest team to be linked with the ex-Chelsea man.

The newspaper claims that in light of Gianluca Scamacca’s potentially season-ending injury, the Bergamaschi have turned their attention to Abraham.

An intermediary for the club reportedly got in touch with Roma sporting director Florent Ghisolfi, inquiring about Abraham’s availability and the costs involved.
