Roma have identified Evan Ferguson as the right player to strengthen their attack and replace Eldor Shomurodov.
The Giallorossi have already reached an agreement with the player and are in talks with Brighton, who could agree to loan him out.
According to Sky Sport, however, Roma aren’t the only Italian club interested in Ferguson.
Atalanta, who need to replace Mateo Retegui, are still interested.
The Italian center forward, barring any developments, will move to Al Qadsiah, forcing Atalanta to find a replacement for Ivan Juric as soon as possible.
