Atalanta executive Giovanni Sartori is being targeted by Roma for their vacant Sporting Director role.
The former Chievo Verona Sporting Director is, reportedly, looking for a new adventure after his relationship with Atalanta manager Gian Piero Gasperini has deteriorated over recent years.
Ahead of La Dea’s clash this afternoon against Inter, Sartori appeared on Sky Sport and was asked about the whispers linking him with a switch to the Italian capital.
”Roma? I’m fine where I am,” he stated.
“Let’s discuss the match, though. We need to get back on track as we’ve lost our last two matches.”
Sartori is said to be the top choice of Roma CEO Guido Fienga, who is pushing Giallorossi owners Dan and Ryan Friedkin to appoint the 63 year-old.
