Atalanta have secured the signing of Charles De Ketelaere which could in turn influence Duvan Zapata’s future.
As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, earlier today Atalanta completed an agreement with Milan for the temporary transfer of attacker Charles De Ketelaere.
The ex-Brugge man will join the Bergamaschi on loan with option to buy, thus taking up another roster spot in Gian Piero Gasperini’s attack.
As a result, Duvan Zapata’s playing time at Atalanta may be further reduced, facilitating negotiations with Roma for the Columbian striker’s exit.
Roma are discussing the possibility of acquiring Zapata on loan, whereas Atalanta want make the player’s exit a permanent one.
