Following a 1-1 draw with Cremonese in Bergamo earlier today, Atalanta coach Gian Piero Gasperini was asked to briefly preview the last Serie A match before this month’s international break scheduled on September 18th at the Stadio Olimpico.
“Despite this small set-back, we always go into a game with great spirit and winning mentality,” the Italian technician said in his post-match interview with DAZN. “We have Roma up next before the international break, then we’ll play a series of big games.”
“I must say that Mourinho is doing a fantastic job at Roma,” he added. “Especially with the kind of enthusiasm he brought to the club.”
“Roma have greatly improved with Mourinho’s leadership,” Gasperini concluded.
