Atalanta boss Gian Piero Gasperini previewed tomorrow night’s showdown at the Stadio Olimpico with Jose Mourinho’s Roma.
Gasperini called the match ”a formidable test” for his side given both teams share the same ambition of reaching Champions League football.
“From a personality point of view tomorrow is an important match,” he told reporters. “We will see how we handle ourselves on the pitch. And let’s see what kind of performance we’ll give tomorrow.”
“Compared to last year both teams underwent several changes over the course of the summer.”
“Roma signed Dybala, who gives an extraordinary value to the team,” Gasperini said.
“For me this game is a formidable test, we meet a very strong team, it can also give us an important opportunity to play good football.”
