Atalanta midfielder Marteen De Roon is looking to beat Roma in the upcoming big match on September 18th right before the international break. The Dutch international sounded disappointed in his team’s draw with Cremonese earlier today.
As a result, De Roon said Atalanta will be even more motivated for the showdown with Roma at the Stadio Olimpico.
“We must find again the right way to play and press the opponent,” he told DAZN after the final whistle in Bergamo. “We’ll go to Rome with the objective to win, as we always do.”
“It will not be easy to face Roma this time around. They are a great team and have gotten stronger over the summer.”
“But we’ll go there with confidence and we’ll play our way and after the game is over, we’ll see who has come out on top.”
