Only a day away from the highly anticipated showdown at the Olimpico, Atalanta midfielder Marten De Roon rallied his troops ahead of the trip to the Italian capital where the Bergamaschi will face Jose Mourinho’s Roma.
De Roon released a set of encouraging words to the club’s official website. “We’re still on top, but we need to keep improving. I think we can only grow as we have many young players in the squad.”
“As always, we are travelling to Rome to win. It will be a difficult game, but we’ll be ready to fight.”
