Atletico Madrid in pursuit of Paulo Dybala as Correa’s replacement

Andy Mattioli

Atletico Madrid are reportedly after Roma attacker Paulo Dybala.

The Argentine forward is being linked with Atletico for the second time after initial rumors had linked him with a move to Spain in January.

Sources from Spain claim that Atletico have renewed their interest in the ex-Juve man whose contract with Roma is set to expire in 2025.

According to Estadio Deportivo, Dybala is deemed by Atletico coach Diego Simeone as the ideal replacement of Angel Correa who in all likelihood will depart the Spanish side in the summer.

Atletico’s economic situation is not prosperous, so a limited outlay for such a high-level player would be ideal. But for the same reason the Premier League danger is high – Chelsea are the English club to have shown most interest in Dybala.

For now, the Argentine is enjoying his life at Roma and has already declared that he is doing well both in the capital and in Italy.
