Roma have a new competitor in their pursuit of Barcelona attacker Memphis Depay.
The Dutchman is in fact being eyed by Atletico Madrid, reports Fabrizio Romano of Sky Sport. Atletico are currently looking to strengthen their offensive line and temporarily replace the departing Joao Felix.
According to Romano, the Giallorossi are still keen on Depay but as other reports suggested – Roma must first focus on outgoing transfers.
Atletico Madrid are making concrete steps toward Depay whose contract with Barcelona is set to expire in June.
