Roma are being linked with Spanish attacker Alvaro Morata as they seek a replacement of Tammy Abraham for next season.

Following Abraham’s injury which will likely sideline him for up to nine months, Roma have prioritised his replacement in this upcoming transfer window.

According to calciomercato.com, Alvaro Morata of Atletico Madrid is one of the candidates for the job along with Mauro Icardi, Wilfred Zaha and M’Bala Nzola.

Atletico Madrid seem to have even suggested a swap deal involving Roma centreback Roger Ibanez who had been linked with Atletico for months and is now the favorite to leave Roma.

For now, this remains an idea that the Giallorossi want to consider going forward.
