Kevin Danso is still not out of the woods after his failed medical with Roma.

Rumors have been swirling about the 25 year-old defender’s status after an irregular heartbeat was detected during his routine medical examination prior to his collapsed transfer switch to the club.

After being forced to return to Lens on the day prior to the transfer deadline, Danso has been cut from Austria’s squad list for the upcoming Nations League engagements with Slovenia and Norway.

The reason, as communicated by the Austrian federation, is to have the player undergo additional medical tests with Lens following the rumored emerge of irregular heartbeats during his medical visit in Rome.

Danso hasn’t been fully reintegrated into Lens’ squad as the French club want to make sure the player is 100% OK.
