Tommaso Baldanzi could make a surprise appearance from the start in the upcoming second leg with Bayer Leverkusen.

After exiting Sunday’s fixture with Juventus at halftime, Dybala is still questionable for the trip to Germany on Thursday night.

The player should be available, reports Corriere dello Sport, but it remains uncertain whether he will feature in Roma’s starting eleven or be limited to the bench.

In his place, Tommaso Baldanzi is reportedly ready to start.

The 20-year-old midfielder put in an impressive performance against Juventus on Sunday and could be eyeing his second consecutive appearance from the start.
