Baldini to meet Liverpool for Salah talks

RomaPress can exclusively report that after the meeting with the rest of Roma’s hierarchy in Boston this week, Franco Baldini has returned to the UK and will hold talks in the coming days with Liverpool for Mohammed Salah.

Baldini has been the point of reference for talks between the two clubs and is ready to continue discussions to bridge the gap between Roma’s asking price and Liverpool’s offer. The Reds already have an agreement in place with the player, but there is still a gap between their offer and the €40 million asking price of the Giallorossi. Given that Roma have a roughly €30 million financial deficit they must repair before 30 June, the club certainly has urgency regarding the operation.
