Daniele Lo Monaco of Il Romanista has reported that Franco Baldini, one of the most trusted consultants of club president James Pallotta, is resigning his position from the Giallorossi’s executive committee following the release of Francesco Totti’s autobiography – the ex-captain of Roma claims in his book that it was Baldini who pushed for him to retire from football.

It remains to be seen how Pallotta will respond, however, Baldini wanted to make a clean break from the club in response to Totti’s words as he believe he could no longer work for the same club with Totti.
