Baldini wants Massara return

Ex-Roma and current Milan sporting director, Ricky Massara, could return to the Italian capital this summer.

Massara is expected to leave the Rossoneri once the appointment of Ralf Rangnick becomes official as Roma adviser Franco Baldini is keen for Massara to return to the Giallorossi, according to La Repubblica.

It would be Massara’s third stint with the club: he departed the Italian capital for Milan after having returned in June 2019.

Both Baldini and vice sporting director Morgan De Sanctis are currently overseeing Roma’s transfer market strategy and negotiations following the suspension (and soon to be sacking) of sporting director Gianluca Petrachi.
