Baldissoni: “Paredes? He will remain.”

Speaking today at the unveiling of defender Federico Fazio, Roma general director Mauro Baldissoni was asked about the future of Leandro Paredes, here is his response:

“Paredes is a player taken by Roma two and a half years ago, the choices made (regarding him) are correct. We brought him here because we think he is a good player. Signs of interest from other clubs have arrived, but he will remain a Roma player. The market is dictated by choices, because of the opportunities available and the daily labor put into you can take action (on the market) when it opens. This is in regards to all players, not just Paredes, but we are not going to sell him. You know perfectly well that he is not the only player who is liked by many teams in Europe.”
