The defeat against Napoli.
We are sorry to have lost a match we couldn’t lose. We know that matches like this, against direct opponents who are our level, can end in any way. Napoli is a very strong and talented club, while Roma probably still has yet to reach its maximum potential because we have changed managers and there are new players who have come in. For these reasons, we think we can still grow. Facing Napoli at this time was not easy, but the match could have ended another way. It’s up to us, we have to go forward and we’re happy about what we did.
Injuries.
It’s a shame and they’re worrying. When you change your training methods, looking at the statistics, it generally leads to a higher incidence of injuries, but many of ours, if you look at the dynamics, are related to doing casual things or happen while on national team duty. Unfortunately in modern football with playing so much, especially at a high level, injuries increase. It’s not only happening to Roma.
