Mauro Baldissoni, general director of Roma, spoke to Sky Sport before the friendly between Roma and Chapecoense:

“A judgment on Monchi’s first campaign? It would be unfair to give him a vote based off of a single acquisition, everything was planned out and he did very well. It will be more fair to judge him next year, as he himself explained that the transfer market does not begin in June but during the season. But being able to buy a talent like Schick we consider the icing on the cake, we hope he fulfills the expectations we have.”
