Barcelona manager Xavi Hernandez was critical of Jose Mourinho’s behaviour toward referee Anthony Taylor in the Europa League final.
In a recent press conference appearance, Xavi – when asked about Mourinho’s outburst – replied, “Everyone behaves as they please, if you feel damaged in a final… But we, and by we I mean both players and coaches, must be an example for others to follow.”
“As we are the first ones to ask to not be insulted, we must equally be the first ones to lead by example. Behaviour is very important. I hope to never replicate this kind of behaviour.”
