Barcelona sporting director Jordi Cruyff addressed the latest rumors involving Memphis Depay and Roma as the January window edges closer with each day.

In an interview with Mundo Deportivo, Cruyff spoke about Depay’s limited minutes this season, his recent injury issues and an unclear future for the Dutch attacker who is set to become a free agent in the summer.

“Xavi always says Memphis is player who doesn’t create problems, who always gives his all and when he was called to action, he was there for us and responded adequately. So, today we don’t think about any of the players leaving but about having a competitive team for the second half of the season, and if Memphis has recovered from the injury then he is a player who can help a lot.”

“In January Lewandowski will be suspended for three games so we’re not in a hurry to get rid of anybody. Everyone is needed.”
