Barcelona pushing Hector Bellerin to join Roma

Hector Bellerin is one of the several names linked to the capital club since Rick Karsdorp’s departure-related rumours started following the dispute with Jose Mourinho earlier in the month.

Whispers from Spain suggest Barcelona’s preference is to offload Bellerin – who is in search more playing time after a disappointing first half of the season – abroad rather than in Spain, where Real Betis have expressed interest in the fullback’s return, reports Sport.es.

Bellerin’s contract with Barcelona is set to expire in June, but the player’s entourage are already making inquiries for a January switch.

Roma, on the other hand, are busy studying various alternative replacements for Rick Karsdorp. The capital club have reportedly contacted Barca about potentially bringing Bellerin in as a short term fix.
