Barcelona, Setién: “If I knew that Dembele was going to be injured, we would not have allowed Carles Pérez to leave.”


Barcelona boss Quique Setién spoke at a press conference today’s ahead of his side’s Copa del Rey clash against Athletic Bilbao tomorrow evening.

The Spaniard was asked about the injury crisis that has hit the Blaugrana — admitting that he now regrets allowing Carles Pérez to leave the club and join Roma last week.

“Of course I am responsible for the decisions of the club. I would like to have more players. If I knew Dembélé would be injured, we would not have allowed Carles Pérez to leave,” he said.
