Bayer Leverkusen director Simon Rolfes expressed his confidence in his team’s ability to beat Roma in the return leg on Thursday.
Following their defeat at the Olimpico, Rolfes remarked, “It’s a defeat that shouldn’t have happened, our performance was really good, especially in the first half.”
“If we had taken advantage of one of the two opportunities we had at the beginning of the match, the game would have gone differently.”
