RomaPress – After having agreed to a deal with Chelsea for Kai Havertz, Bayer Leverkusen are already hard at work looking for a replacement for the German international.

One of the names that former Roma striker and current Bayer sporting director, Rudi Völler, is pushing to acquire to replace Havertz is the Giallorossi’s Patrik Schick.

Tomorrow there will be a meeting between the German side and Pavel Paska, the agent of the Czech attacker, to see if the sides can agree to personal terms. The ex-Sampdoria man has long expressed his desire to remain in Germany following a successful loan spell at RB Leipzig, who tried to acquire him permanently but have been unable to agree to a fee with Roma.

Julian Nagelsmann’s side has always been the priority for Schick, but if Leipzig continue to stumble in their attempts to find a deal with the Giallorossi, then he would have no problems saying “Yes” to Bayer Leverkusen.

Roma are requesting a minimum of €26 million for the Czech attacker, which is the minimum amount required to avoid a capital loss on the player.
