Roma have reportedly added another name to the extensive list of potential candidates to take over sporting director duties.
The capital club have yet to appoint the replacement of Tiago Pinto following the Portuguese General Manager’s exit from the club earlier this month.
According to Manà Manà Sport Roma, the Friedkins are still interested in appointing an executive from abroad with Bayer Leverkusen’s Simon Rolfes being the latest profile to have appealed to the American owners.
Rolfes started in the German club’s youth sector and then moved to scouting, then sporting director and is now the head of the entire sporting area of the Bundesliga leaders. Last November he renewed his contract until 2028.
