Bayer Leverkusen attacker Amine Adli addressed his team’s ambitions for the season finale after conquering this year’s Bundesliga title.

In his interview with Bayer’s official social media channel, Adli spoke ahead of the upcoming first leg of the Europa League semifinals with Roma.

“I still have trouble believing what we’re doing right now. It’s hard to explain,” he said, referring to Bayer Leverkusen’s unbeaten streak.

“We are very happy, scoring these late goals demonstrates our mentality, we never give up and we always believe in winning,” he added.

“Roma? We don’t want to lose our unbeaten record. It’s fantastic and we need to continue like this. We would have liked to win against Stuttgart, but in the end we avoided defeat, so it’s good.”
