Bayer Leverkusen attacker Patrick Schick won’t be available for his side’s upcoming Europa League semi-final against former club Roma due to lingering injury issues.

The Czech international, who left the Italian capital permanently in 2020, revealed he’s going to miss the remainder of the season after battling adductor problems throughout the previous three months.

“Unfortunately, the season for me is over,” wrote Schick on Instagram.

“But we are working really hard on the goal to be pain free before the last Bundesliga game and be 100% ready for the next one.”

“I wish my teammates all the best for the remaining games, there is still a lot to achieve.”
