Roma are reportedly pursuing Austrian midfielder Marcel Sabitzer.

The Giallorossi are seeking reinforcements for the midfield and Sabitzer’s profile fits Mourinho’s requirements for the position.

In recent days, Roma approached Bayern Munich and formulated their first offer for the ex-Leipzig captain.

The capital club asked to sign Sabitzer on loan with an option to buy at the end of the season.

However, La Repubblica reports that Bayern Munich turned down the offer and requested the deal to be made permanent instead of temporary.

The German giants insist on at least including an obligation in a loan deal for Sabitzer.
