Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Florian Wirtz sounded upset with the way Roma approached their home victory in the first leg of the EL semifinal.

“The return leg will not be easy. I wouldn’t say it’s an impossible task but definitely not easy because of the goal we conceded,” Wirtz told RTL.de.

“As expected, Roma made the most of every contact by losing a minute or two and the referee allowed it but it was to be expected. A pity, however, that there was no real pace to the match. They disrupted the flow of the game.”
