Benevento boss Pippo Inzaghi spoke at his pre-match press conference today as his team prepares to travel to the Italian capital to face Roma on Sunday evening.
The Campagnia-based side enter the match having collected 6 points in their first three matches.
“How do you deal with Roma? You make the sign of the cross,” joked Inzaghi.
“No one will bet a single euro on us. They’ve got strong players: if Pellegrini doesn’t play, they can bring Cristante, an Italian national team player, off of the bench. Plus, they also brought Smalling back.”
”I like the way Roma plays and Fonseca, he never complains. I wish him well, at least after Sunday!”
”But we’re not entering the match having already lost, we’ll try to play our football and remain compact then attack when possible.”
”We can’t make mistakes, though. We still have a lot of growing to do. We’re working in the best way possible.”
