Besiktas pushing for Santon, who only wants a permanent move from Roma, no loan

Roma defender Davide Santon is one of the several names that the Giallorossi are trying to offload in an attempt to thin their roster.

Two days ago, Santon’s agent, Claudio Vigorelli, who is also the agent of Nicolo Zaniolo, was at Trigoria to discuss the future of the defender.

According to Corriere della Sera, Besiktas are pressing hard to acquire the former Newcastle United defender, but he is only open to considering a permanent transfer away, not a loan deal. Santon has a contract with Roma until 2022 and it‘s not in his plans to leave the Italian capital while still being owned by the Giallorossi.
