German outlet Bild have reported Schalke 04 are continuing their pursuit of Roma midfielder Leandro Paredes.
The German club have reignited their interested in the Argentine after their first offer was rejected by Roma. Sporting director Christian Heidel greatly admires the midfielder and sees him as a perfect fit for the team of Markus Weinzierl. The Giallorossi will seek at least €20 million for the player, a figure that only Zenit have so far reached.
