American billionaire and real estate tycoon Tom Barrack is reportedly among the parties interested in Roma’s new stadium project which is being closely supervised by the club’s owners, Dan and Ryan Friedkin.
According to Il Messaggero, Barrack is eyeing the project – which is currently undergoing all the necessary approvals by the local administration – and has instructed several advisors to inquire about the terms and conditions of a possible partnership.
The Friedkins have been looking for additional partners over the last few months and Barrack may represent the first name on the list as the stadium represents an investment of around €600 million.
