Former Juventus man Blaise Matuidi sounded very critical of the Bianconeri’s decision to let Paulo Dybala join Roma without offering him a new a contract. Matuidi, a close friend of Dybala’s, addressed the Argentine’s current Giallorossi adventure in an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“I didn’t expect him to go to Roma. I think in the end both Paulo and Juventus wanted something different, but that doesn’t mean that the past gets erased,” said the former French international.
“He was crucial for Juventus, a magnificent player. They will miss his off-the-pitch presence as well,” Matuidi added.
“I will always stick with Paulo, and that’s why I think the ones to regret this decision are Juventus. They will regret letting him go.”
