Boca Juniors are determined in their pursuit of Roma midfielder Leandro Paredes.
The Argentine side have long been linked as Paredes’ next destination due to his willingness to return to his homeland at some point down the road.
The midfielder’s future at Roma remains uncertain despite his recent renewal.
With Gian Piero Gasperini set to be appointed at the club’s new head coach, Roma will evaluate Paredes’ position and fit in the manager’s plans.
In the meantime, according to Cadena Xeneize, the Boca Juniors are working to make an offer that can satisfy the Giallorossi.
The objective would be to be able to recruit Paredes in time for the Club World Cup and take advantage of the transfer window dedicated to the clubs that are part of it.
