Roma midfielder Leandro Paredes remains a primary transfer target of his former club, Boca Juniors, who are eager to bring the Argentine back to his homeland.

According to TyC Sports, Boca have submitted a second proposal to Paredes, aiming to persuade him to return to the club where his career began.

The midfielder, whose contract with Roma is set to expire at the end of the season, has become a top priority for Boca coach Fernando Gago.

The latest offer reportedly includes a lucrative contract that would make Paredes the highest-paid player in the Boca squad. However, the proposal has yet to meet the demands of Roma’s number 16, leaving room for further negotiations.

Paredes now faces a crucial decision: whether to return to Argentina and rejoin Boca or to continue his journey in Serie A with Roma. The coming weeks could determine the next chapter of his career.
