With his contract set to expire in December later this year, Ola Solbakken is in talks with Roma and continues to be eyed by several other European clubs.

The candidates willing to sign the Norwegian talent are numerous, ranging from Napoli to Galatasaray and more recently – Europa League winners, Eintracht Frankfurt, reports La Gazzetta dello Sport.

However, according to the Italian newspaper, Bodø/Glimt refuse to let go of Solbakken for free at the moment. The player has been able to be in contact with other teams, and has therefore reached an agreement with Roma, but Bodø/Glimt continue to stand in the Giallorossi’s way.

The Norwegian side want €5 million for Solbakken: a sum which Roma are not willing to cover. The capital club do not intend to offer half of the fee and are relying on the player’s willingness to move to push the deal through.
