Bodø/Glimt’s Marius Høibråten was asked to replace coach Kjetil Knutsen in this morning’s pre-match press conference ahead of the second leg of the Conference League quarterfinals at the Stadio Olimpico scheduled for tomorrow evening.
“We expect a full stadium, but it won’t be a bad thing for us,” he said to the media. “We have to accept any negative episodes, if we can’t change something, we won’t.”
On Mourinho criticizing Bodø’s artificial pitch, “Mourinho makes those comments on purpose, but we don’t let them get to us, we’re calm. We play well on a real pitch, too.”
When asked what their supporters should do tomorrow night, he replied, “Have fun, come to the game, cheer us on. I don’t think we can get into a habit of playing the quarter-finals at this stadium, so make the best of it.”
