Bodø/Glimt’s Ola Solbakken meets secretively with Roma

Ola Solbakken paid a quick, unannounced visit to the Italian capital on Sunday morning, accompanied by his agent, Anders Carlsson, reports Filippo Biafora of Il Tempo.

According to the Italian journalist, Solbakken met with Tiago Pinto at Trigoria, and interacted with some fans who recognised him along the way.

The Norwegian attacker took a private jet in the evening to return to Bodø.

The capital club have had an agreement in place with the 23-year-old since the two sides faced each other in the Conference League.

With his contract set to expire in December, Roma are pushing to sign Solbakken in this summer transfer window.

Bodø, however, continue to insist on keeping him for the UCL qualifiers.

On July 6th and 12th the Norwegian club will face Klaksvik. If they go through, Bodø will insist on keeping Solbakken for the next rounds throughout the summer. Roma, on the other hand, want to speed up the negotiations and resolve the situation sooner.
