Bologna are said to have expressed interest in Roma striker Sardar Azmoun on loan from Bayer Leverkusen.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Bologna intend to to make a mid-season investment in the offensive department and among the various names that have been talked about (McGuire from Orlando City, Pavlidis from AZ Alkmaar and Martinez from Benfica) there would also be that of Sardar Azmoun from Roma, currently on loan from Bayer Leverkusen until the end of the season.

Roma, however, seem intent on keeping Azmoun in the Italian capital: the attacker is meeting Jose Mourinho’s expectations and continues to make his impact felt as an effective substitute off the bench.
