Bologna boss Thiago Motta insisted his side’s motivation against Roma hasn’t changed despite the visitors overhauling their starting formation.

Following their Europa League victory over Bayer Leverkusen on Thursday, manager Jose Mourinho opted to rest nearly his entire formation, selecting several youngsters to his starting lineup.

“At this point in the season, every single team is dealing with injuries,” the former midfielder told DAZN.

“Obviously some clubs have less injury issues than what Roma are dealing with but this is part of football. We’ll approach the game with the exact same attitude.”

“As for us, Arnautovic is back and we’ll see how he does today. He’s got a chance to show some things tonight, he can make a difference for us. He’ll have his opportunities.”
