Real Betis are considering dropping out of the race for Roma defender Matias Vina.
The Spanish club were reportedly in talks to sign Vina on loan until the end of the season. However, Betis are now focused on pursuing Brazilian leftback Abner Vinicius of Athletico Paranaense instead, claims calciomercato.it.
Vina, on the other hand, has caught the attention of Bologna. The Felsinei have suffered several injuries over recent weeks and are looking to further strengthen their defense. The Uruguayan fullback could represent a viable opportunity for Thiago Motta’s side.
