Bologna remain interested in Solbakken, already met with his entourage

RomaPress – Roma attacker Ola Solbakken is drawing interest on the transfer market after joining the capital club nearly six months ago.

Several teams have reached out to the Norwegian’s representatives in recent weeks, including fellow Serie A side Bologna. The Rossoblu are keen to give manager Thiago Motta fresh attacking reinforcements and quickly identified the 24 year-old as a potential candidate.

Sources connected to both the attacker and Bologna confirmed to RomaPress a brief exploratory meeting was held in recent weeks between the two parties. While contractual terms weren’t agreed, the club affirmed their serious interest in the attacker and are waiting to understand if Roma are open selling.

Any prospective transfer for Solbakken wouldn’t be linked to the future of Riccardo Orsolini, who could leave the Rossoblu due to only one year remaining on his contract.
